Purchase Terms

These Purchase Terms apply when you purchase a Quant Data Fetch license. Completing checkout means you accept these terms in full. Please read carefully before purchasing.

1. Product

This is a software license (digital good) granting a perpetual right to use the current major version of Quant Data Fetch for personal or business purposes. No physical product is shipped.

2. Price and Payment

• The price displayed at checkout is the price you will be charged;
• Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc.; we never receive or store your card details;
• Prices are in USD by default. Stripe may automatically convert to your local currency at checkout;
• License is activated within 1 minute of successful payment. If it has not activated after 5 minutes, contact support.

3. What You Get

• Current major version (V1) perpetual license — no subscription, no recurring fees;
• All V1.x updates included free — minor versions and new data source integrations within V1;
• Discounted upgrade to future major versions — when V2 (or later) is released, existing license holders will be offered a discounted upgrade; specific discount terms will be announced at release time;
• 2 devices simultaneously — Windows and macOS in any combination, bound via device fingerprint. Browser sign-ins do not count;
• Email support — we make best-effort response; no SLA.

What is not included:

• Commercial resale, agency, or bulk redistribution of the license;
• Custom development or private deployments;
• Investment advice or trading-strategy consulting;
• Real-time exchange data (level-2 / tick feeds from venues that require direct subscription — you must pay the exchange separately if needed).

4. Refunds

Digital goods are generally not refundable after the license has been activated. We honor refunds in the following narrow cases:

• Duplicate charge caused by our system fault — automatic refund;
• Critical bug we are unable to fix within 14 days that prevents you from using the Service — eligible for full refund;
• Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction supersede these terms.

See Refund Policy for full details. Buyers in the EU with statutory withdrawal rights should review whether activating the license waives those rights (it typically does for digital goods under Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m)).

5. Invoices / Receipts

• Stripe automatically emails a receipt to the email used at checkout;
• For business invoices with tax ID, email billing@quantdatafetch.com with your order number, business name, and tax ID;
• We respond as quickly as possible (typically within 1 week).

6. Support

• Email: support@quantdatafetch.com;
• We are a small team. We try to respond to every email but do not commit to a specific response time;
• For critical bugs blocking usage we prioritize and patch in the next minor release;
• Non-blocking issues and feature requests are tracked for future releases.

7. Account and Data

• The license is bound to your account email — it cannot be transferred between accounts;
• To migrate to a new email, contact support;
• Deleting your account forfeits the license — it cannot be restored, even by re-registering the same email.

8. Communication and Dispute Resolution

Any issue, please first email support@quantdatafetch.com. We treat every message seriously and resolve almost all issues through direct dialogue.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through dialogue, you retain all rights to escalate to relevant consumer protection bodies, payment provider chargeback channels, or courts of competent jurisdiction in accordance with applicable law.

9. Relationship with Other Documents

These Purchase Terms together with the Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy form the complete agreement between you and us regarding the purchase.
